Where Quality is Second Nature!
First Clutch!!!
It was Saturday, March 27, 2010. AFter getting everyone ready to leave the
house, I did last minute checks on all the pets and got the biggest surprise of my
life when I opened up Andromeda's tub. She was perfectly coiled around a clutch
of pearly white eggs.
Eggs? Eggs?! EGGS!!! OMG.. you bratty girl, you gave me no signs what so
ever that you were gravid. kewl.. I have eggs now. What a feeling. I get excited
when I see the pictures of other peoples clutches, but this was my own. I can't
describe the feeling. Of course, I couldn't take pictures because my camera was
broken.. life's not fair sometimes.
With new camera in hand, I took a few pictures and here they are. Enjoy.

First Clutch - Finally Out!!!!
They started hatching on Fathers Day and by that Thursday they all were out. Didn't
have great morph odds, but so far all looked good. Four normals and one pinstripe.. and
what a pinstripe. Nice clean reduced pattern with full dorsal stripe. Unfortunately, the
pinstripe baby died halfway out of the egg. So now I have four normals. I am pleased
with them as they are what I like, nice reduced patterns. So here they are. Individual
photos of the clutch can be seen on the available page. Thank you for looking.

This is the baby that died coming out of the egg. As you can
see, it was a beautiful baby and I am saddened by its loss.
